An invitation to a beheading

I have returned from Paris and Italy with the final mix of the RAMA single which, I can safely say, will be released on January 15th, 2008. Grab your swords, scales and some heavy boots - it's time to decapitare il vecchio alla nuca del suo collo. Cynics, blasfemi and those who move their lips while reading need not apply. For even when the pages were blank, there was still a magnificent feeling of the words, paragraphs and stanzas being there, written in invisible ink and demanding to become visible.

BLOOD CALLS FOR REVENGE. VENGEANCE IS A HUMAN RIGHT. BLOOD WILL FOLLOW BLOOD.

Those who do not have a sharpened cleaver handy are destined to be martyred in the winter of their discontent. Chūai existed as I did - Nietzsche is dead.

Two new children of Rama have been rescued after a particularly meritevole abortion and have been teething on Marina Oswald's broach in preparation for a rousing round of show and tell. They are Ockham's razor and Inconclusion. Their father slept with doubt and found a corpse in his arms upon awakening. We drank and danced that night with certainty and found her a virgin in the morning. As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.

Here exists neither fiction or nonfiction - only narrative and leaves are left to guide our beloved scettici e traditori through the house of Usher. Their stupidity harbors a great talent for misconception - not all is lost - except life when you are not occupied with making other plans.

10:13 is scheduled to release RAMA on January 15th, 2008. RAMA is a four track maxi single featuring two full songs from the debut album Fulmination, a radio edit of the single Zampanò, as well as a bonus track exclusive to this release.

10:13 is an instrumental heavy metal outfit from New Jersey. With an eclectic, intense approach, 10:13 fuses metal, progressive, industrial, psychedelia and classical influences. The single, Zampanò, is a thunderous aural assault, driven by a heavy blast beat and distorted guitars reminiscent of early Fear Factory. Hand of God, the second track taken from Fulmination, rides a heavy industrial groove that employs twisted soundscapes and orchestral elements, which amplify 10:13's aggressive sound. The bonus track, The Third Terrace, is a spoken word piece with a cinematic backdrop that recalls classic Noir film scores.

Fulmination is set for release in Spring 2008.
